Weekend trip 

Less than 1,5hour drive from Basel in Germany is the top notch place called Badeparadies Schwarzwald. The total area of 60.000 m2 offers 3in1: Sauna World, Palm Oasis and Waterpark for children, but also adults find it cool.

We stayed only one day, because I had to work on Sunday, which was a shame because the Schwarzwald area is pretty nice and has so many things to do.

Let's first talk about the Badeparadies. I love sauna and this is where we spent most of our time. We did 3 ceremonies in a 1 hour interval. Every ceremony lasts about 10 minutes and has different theme. First was Durch atmen, sweating in over 80C and breathe the eucalypthus to open your lungs, next stop was sweet & peel, where after the ceremony you were invited to grab the kaffee peeling and remove the dead skin from your body and the last was the ceremony where you can cream yourself with honey during the sweating. I really enjoyed all and my skin feels so smooth after.
Tip: Drink a lot! And come early before the ceremony starts it gets busy! Also check out the Heimat - Stube (sauna in style of a pub, only beer is missing).

There are in total 12 saunas, but also restaurant, swimming pool with a bar where are served amazing cocktails, outdoor & indoor chilling area and minerals pools. I enjoyed to float in Schwebe bad, with 18% of salt concentration, which is so good for eczema and give you a feeling of being in the Dead Sea, but there are also othe pools like Lithium - Calcium pool, Zink - Selen pool and Mineral pool wiht 4% of salt concentration.

We also spent some time to explore Water park - Galaxy, which offers 23 slides different level with different age restrictions so everyone will find their fun!

Let's check the Schwarzwald area. If you decide to stay overnight, check out this apartments - it's only 120 metres from Badeparadies and has superb reviews. As I mentioned we unfortunately stayed only one day, but the Schwarzwald area is so beautiful and has so many activities to offer like hiking trails, bike tour, boat tours on Titisee or Schlusssee and many more. It's worth to check Hochschwarzwald card with which you can apply 20% off for 4 hour entry to Badeparadies, as well as free boat tour, Lopyball, SUP, Rothaus Express and many many more.

And lastly we did our last stop in the area was in Hotel Adler Feldberg Bärental restaurant, around 10 minutes drive from Badeparadies, where we enjoyed very nice atmosphere with amazing food. My boyfriend had te Adler menu, which consist of starter (Goat cheese salad), main dish (Chicken breast with vegetable and homemade parmesan Gnocchi - yummy) and desert (Creme Brulée), I had homemade Schlutzkrapfen (a special kind of ravioli). I recommend all the dishes, everything was very tasty together with wine and schnaps.

This area is great place to spend weekend for couples as well as families.
